I know it says "Aske Bos", but the real, full-out, search-for-in-the-records name is Astrid Van den Bossche. Passionate about all things visual and aesthetic, my great loves are film and design. Throw in some information architecture and UI, and I'm hooked. To me, there is no internet without clean, intuitive and efficient interfaces; what's the point of all that information if it is a pain to get through?
This year, my birthday is on a Thursday (show me love on 6 december!). I'm Belgian. Legally, I'm also Ecuadorian. I first fell in love with webdesign at age 11, but the story is too geeky to tell. Before the advent of the WWW, I remember making small movies in Powerpoint. They mainly involved that red car they have (had?) in their clipart collection.
I hold a M.St. in Film Aesthetics from the University of Oxford (equivalent to a M.A. in the rest of the world) and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from University College Maastricht, where I majored in all sorts of fields related to Media and the Arts and minored in Computer Science. Eager to explore my entrepreneurial inclinations, I am currently reading for a MSc in Management at London Business School. For a detailed CV, please contact me, or visit my LinkedIn profile.
